Prospective Students
In this graduate major, we promote cutting-edge research on health and medicine intended to enrich people's lives. We aim to build a sustainable, safe and secure society by integrating science and engineering, medicine, and health science. To this end, we will foster individuals with broad perspectives, advanced expertise, strong ethical principles, and a global mindset. In doing so, they will pave the way as global leaders for new academic disciplines as well as global research and development.
*This Graduate Major combines Science and Engineering with Medical and Dental Sciences. For Medical and Dental Sciences, it is a Graduate Specialized Study Program.
We aim to cultivate students who possess a solid academic foundation that enables a deep understanding of people and society, alongside advanced interdisciplinary expertise in science and engineering. These individuals will develop broad perspectives, critical thinking abilities, comprehensive decision-making skills, and a strong sense of both ethics and technology. Furthermore, they will be competent in international environments, as well as able to identify and solve cutting-edge technology development and academic research problems. We also aim to cultivate globally competitive talents with the creativity and leadership to take on interdisciplinary challenges and pioneer new fields beyond their area of expertise.
