In today’s world, where industrial innovation is crucial for building a sustainable society, there is a need for individuals who can effectively leverage their academic expertise in materials and information sciences, applying the unique Japanese monotsukuri mindset with consequent social services. In this graduate major, students will be empowered to become multitalented individuals capable of advancing innovative, interdisciplinary research in materials and information sciences through the use of informatics techniques and the adoption of multifaceted, overarching perspectives.
We aim to cultivate multitalented individuals who can seamlessly apply their academic expertise in materials and information sciences to create new industries and academic fields. These individuals will possess the insight to innovate not only devices and manufacturing processes, but also services that benefit society.
