Report on last three months activity as a Tokyo Tech Alumni Ambassador

The first public post on the notice at my own Facebook wall is created on 25th June, 2022 in which I am appointed as one of the Tokyo Tech Alumni ambassadors for next three years. I wrote there that as an alumni ambassador I will share my experience of my student life in Tokyo Tech and encourage the prospective Mongolian students to study at Tokyo Tech. The post was liked by 208 people and 69 people had been written their comments.

The second public post including the photos of study at Tokyo Tech pamphlet at my own Facebook wall is created on 11th August, 2022. The description of the post was that "Welcome to Tokyo Institute of Technology. Please share this post to whom interested to study at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. Currently, the admission to programs in English is open. Goodluck to you and your younger sisters/brothers. You can also get the additional documents if you come to me." The post was liked to 28 people as well as shared by 35 people.

After each post, several FB friends and friend's friend contacted me and asked the admission procedure of Tokyo Tech. I hope the some of them will apply to study to Tokyo Tech in the future.

Cooperation to Tokyo Tech Booth in Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2022 (NST Fair 2022)

Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2022 (NST Fair 2022) was being held on August 13-21, 2022 at IMPACT Exhibition and Conventional Center, Muang Thong Thani, Thailand.

Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2022 was originated from "National Science Week" since 18-24 August 1984. The science exhibitions have been arranged and organized by various government agencies. The event "National Science Week" have been held annually to honor His Majesty King Mongkut "King Rama IV" "Father of Thai Science". In this year, the concept of NST Fair is "Art-Science-Innovation for Sustainable Society" to convey the importance of science awareness and the scientific knowledge to young people and the public. NST Fair has arranged various exhibitions and activities through extensive collaborations of the organizations under the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Research Innovation, other government agencies, private sectors, and international organizations.

On August 14, 2022, Dr. Tatsuya Mizukoshi from Tokyo Tech, Assistant Prof. Dr. Dumrongkiat Ratana-Amornpin from Tokyo Tech ANNEX Bangkok and I, Assistant Prof. Dr. Piyatida Trinuruk Kaewchinda from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) as one of the Tokyo Tech Alumni Ambassadors attend the opening ceremony of NST Fair 2022, held at Main Stage, Hall 9-10, IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani. Minister Anek Laothamatas, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Research Innovation, presided over the opening ceremony.

Exhibition at Tokyo Tech booth

In this year, Tokyo Tech's booth exhibits the contribution of Tokyo Tech and its ANNEX Bangkok on education and research in Thailand. The information about the educational activities and the study program TAIST-Tokyo Tech are presented as well as the research showcases that are relevant to a sustainable society. In addition, Tokyo Tech VR is freely illustrated to the public which can be attractive to many young students and their parents to visit.

Another corner is the origami cow which attracts children and high school students to visit and participate in the activities. They can learn the Japanese culture via paper folding and obtain research knowledge about the cow. They are very enjoyed origami cows and drawing the cow face.
