In the Graduate Major in Physics, related courses are grouped to provide systematic, specialized learning according to students' level of learning and achievement.
As a graduate course, in addition to core lectures in each specialized field of physics, the curriculum is organized for cultivating practical skills for problem solving and international communication. Systematically study the latest research and more advanced concepts in the fields of particle-, nuclear-, and astro-physics and condensed matter physics, building on the fundamental knowledge acquired in the Undergraduate Program. Common courses that contain training for improving presentation skills are also offered, and these are structured so that expertise is developed through independently conducting research for Research Seminars and master's theses.
*1 Indicates the standard model where the master's program is completed in two years.
The Doctoral Program is organized so that more productive research can be conducted from a global position using basic, developed, and advanced knowledge related to particle-, nuclear-, and astro-physics and condensed matter physics fields, acquired at the undergraduate level. The curriculum includes courses which provide high-level training for oral and written presentations, courses to assist activities overseas, and those that train students to plan international research workshops.
*2Indicates the standard model where the Doctoral Program is completed in three years.
