The Multi-Hazards Summer School offers participants a unique opportunity to learn from the experiences of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, as well as to discuss strategies for mitigating disaster risks.


This four-day program, held in collaboration with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), includes seminars, group activities, and a field trip to an area impacted by the 2011 disaster.
