C1: SERP (Summer Exchange Research Program)

Short term study-abroad program at partner institutions

1.Postgraduate students (PhD or Master’s) of Engineering Schools at Science Tokyo
2.Students who satisfy the requirements provided by the program and host institutions, including language ability and grades. Please refer to the “Call for Applications” for details (provided by each host institution)
3.TOEFL (iBT) 70 or above, TOEIC 650 or above

SERP(C-1):University of Cambridge,University of Oxford,University of Warwick, University of Southampton, Sorbonne Universite, Ecole Polytechnique, RWTH Aachen University,Technical University of Madrid, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of California, Santa Barbara, Karlstad University, University of the Basque Country, Tor Vergata University of Rome

AOTULE(C2-a):The University of Melbourne, Tinghua University, National Taiwa University,

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung,

*Students who wish to be hosted as exchange students at a partner university need to apply for the university-wide “Exchange Program”. (Please contact Global Education Div.)

Start date：June～November（The first call for applications）　

　　　　　　December～May （The second call for applications）　

Two to three months from September to November (details depend on the host laboratory).
Not less than 60 days.

The Engineering Schools’ Funds or/and other scholarships

＜The required documents＞

・Application Form (Form 1): Reasons for application, research plan, etc

・Recommendation Letter (Form 2) written by Academic Supervisor

・Resume in English (optional format)

・A copy of your English language test scores

・Academic Transcript in English (and Japanese if any)

・Statement of Reason for those below. *Free format

・A copy of the email that shows the applicant get acceptance consent from a host professor
