ASPIRE Forum Student Workshop

Outlines
In conjunction with the annual ASPIRE forum, a student exchange program, "Entrepreneurship Bootcamp" will be held this summer.
Participants will attend lectures and workshops with the theme "Advancing Health & Medicine through AI & Technology".
This year, the Bootcamp will be conducted from July 7 to 11 with participating students from ASPIRE League member universities. Students from the member universities of AEARU (the Association of East Asian Research Universities) and AUA (the Asian Universities Alliance) will also participate in the program.
On the final day, each group will give a presentation.
Eligibility
1. Science Tokyo graduate students
2. Able to communicate in English on the program theme "Advancing Health & Medicine through AI & Technology"
3. Passionate about communicating with students from ASPIRE League member universities

Cost
*Necessary expenses paid by participant*
Travel expenses, travel insurance, local transportation,
and other expenses for personal activities.
*Local accommodations*
1) Arrangements: Arranged by HKUST
2) Accommodation expenses: HKUST will bear the costs.
3) Accommodation: 6 nights and 7 days (check-in July 6 - check-out July 12)
4) Others: HKUST will notify each participant of the location
of his/her local accommodation after his/her participation is confirmed.
Scholarships
A stipend to cover some expenses may be provided by Science Tokyo after returning to Japan.
The students who receive financial aid from programs that do not permit funding from other sources are not eligible.

Fill out the online application form and submit the items listed below via Box File Request.
(1) Copy of official transcripts
*Students enrolled in April 2025 need to submit a copy of transcripts from his/her previous
program.
*Note: The copy of your GRADES LIST from the Science Tokyo Web System "is not " acceptable.
(2) All certifications of English language ability (copies of TOEFL/TOEIC scoresheet, etc)
*Certification is not required of IGP students
(3) ID photo
(4) a copy of an email that shows your academic supervisor has approved your application and participation

As soon as you are notified of your acceptance, check with the embassy to see if you need to apply for a visa yourself.
If you are required to apply for a visa, you must do so yourself.
Please understand that if you cannot obtain a visa in time for your departure, you will not be able to participate in this program.
