Scholarship Opportunities without a University Recommendation
Anyone who meets the application requirements stipulated by the private scholarship foundation can apply for these scholarships. Some private scholarships foundation may send information to the Student Support Division which can apply directly without a university recommendation.
We announce the information on the website of Science Tokyo for current students and the information should be checked by yourself. Overview of each private scholarship which offered at Science Tokyo, please refer to the "List of the Private Scholarship Foundations (Direct Application)" （ Appendix 2）
Scholarship information is also available on the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO)web-site
Some scholarships without university recommendation may require the seal of the university president or dean.
This takes approximately one week.
Please contact the Student Support Division Financial Aid Group well in advance to inquire about the necessary procedures.
The group is not responsible if requests are made at the last minute and the seal cannot be issued by the deadline.
