UC Berkeley – Tokyo Tech Joint Colloquium: Reforming Lesson Study in Japan: Theories of Action for Schools as Learning Communities

Assoc. Prof. Yuta Suzuki gave a lecture on “Reforming Lesson Study in Japan: Theories of Action for Schools as Learning Communities,” which elucidated the formation and development of theories of action in school reforms for Schools as Learning Communities (SLC). The lecture focused on reforms in select Japanese elementary schools, junior high schools, and one secondary school during the ten years since the inception of SLC in 1998.
