Suzukakedai Campus Week 2013

About Suzukakedai Campus
The Suzukakedai Campus is located in a lush, green environment where 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate students in the School of Bioscience and Biotechnology, and students in both the Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology and the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering study. It is also home to the Chemical Resources Laboratory, the Precision and Intelligence Laboratory, the Materials and Structures Laboratory and the Imaging Science and Engineering Laboratory. Cutting-edge research is conducted at the Suzukakedai Campus where large-scale projects are underway at research facilities such as the Frontier Research Center and the Materials Research Center for Element Strategy.

The following events will take place at the Suzukakedai Campus in May. The campus is located in Midori-ku, Yokohama.

Open Campus
Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19

Open Campus is an opportunity for prospective students of the School of Bioscience and Biotechnology and undergraduates of other universities, who are considering Tokyo Tech graduate schools, to visit the Suzukakedai Campus. Come and experience Tokyo Tech's research atmosphere firsthand during this period.

Suzukake Festival
Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19

Suzukakedai Campus opens its doors to the public for its school festival. The Suzukake Festival is planned and organized by students each year and they always come up with exciting ideas to welcome and entertain visitors. Junior high, high school and college students, along with local residents, enjoy this time of year when the normally quiet Suzukakedai Campus takes on a lively and festive air.

Suzukakedai Campus Homecoming Day
Sunday, May 19

Welcome back alumni! Tokyo Tech's inaugural Homecoming Day was feted at both campuses last year. This year marks the 2nd annual Homecoming Day and Suzukakedai Campus will offer Tokyo Tech alumni and their families opportunities to enjoy themselves on campus and interact with different generations of graduates.
