Student Organizations

Extracurricular activities provide a forum for you to pursue your own potential, deepen exchange with other students, faculty members and graduates, and acquire both a benevolent character and advanced expertise and skills. Unlike universities that teach the Humanities, students at Tokyo Tech are inundated with experiments, practical work and exercises, and it is easy for them to forget the importance of engaging widely in the sports and cultural activities they enjoy. Accordingly, Wednesday afternoons are allocated for circle and club activities to encourage students to engage in such activities of their own accord and enjoy a meaningful life as a student.

Tokyo Tech has the following kinds of circles, all of which engage enthusiastically in their respective activities.
